Recently, a sweet friend of mine randomly bought me some yarn from Unwound Unique Yarns and Accessories, in Blowing Rock, NC. Not only is she thoughtful, but she has great taste. These yarns are stunning.
Made in Italy, this beautiful yarn is Liberty Wool from Classic Elite Yarns, and it is 100% washable wool. I adore these colors and can’t wait to see how they all come together and intertwine once they are knitted. The color title is “Stained Glass” which is so fitting. This yarn looks like it will be easy to maintain, and will have great stitch definition.

Next is this Kettle Dyed Pure Merino Wool, made in Uruguay by Malabrigo. Once again, the colors are gorgeous. The color title of this one is “Navidad”. I love the bohemian vibe it gives, and the look of the way they dyed the material.

I can’t say enough how exquisite these are. I am so blessed to have such a thoughtful friend! I have no idea what I’m going to knit yet that will be worthy of this gorgeous yarn, but I’m already so excited about what they will become.
